The Central Mississippi Continuum of Care (CoC) is hiring! We have two important roles open to support our mission to prevent and end homelessness in our community. If you are passionate, service‐oriented, and ready to make a real difference, we want to hear from you.

1. Case Manager (Full‐Time)

• Location: Jackson, MS
• Salary: $30,000 – $35,000/year
• What You'll Do:
  You will provide individualized case management to people experiencing homelessness—helping them with assessments, housing navigation, referrals to services, crisis support, and more. You’ll collaborate with community partners and use tools like the Coordinated Entry System.
• Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, psychology, or related field OR 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; experience with trauma‐informed care is a plus.

2. Homeless Outreach Worker (Part‐Time)

• Location: Jackson, MS
• Pay: $15/hour
• Hours: Approx. 20–25 hours/week
• What You'll Do:
  You’ll engage directly with individuals & families experiencing homelessness in shelters and on the streets. Duties include outreach, building relationships, helping with referrals to housing, healthcare, public benefits, and collaborating with local agencies.
• Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year in social services, outreach, case management, or related field.
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, reliable transportation.
